Mach-Hommy and Griselda Records are at it again! Pray For Haiti features plenty of familiar faces including Westside Gunn, The God Fahim, and Keisha Plum.

Throughout the first half of the LP, Mach-Hommy is uncharacteristically clear (vocally) and palatable (lyrically). But his more abrasive, coded edge kicks in around track #9 “Pen Rale” as Mach dives into his signature riddle-style lyricism, before providing unyielding aggression alongside Westside Gunn thereafter. Pray For Haiti is a, surprisingly, palatable offering from Mach-Hommy, while still embracing Mach’s infamous mysterious allure and coded lyricism.

★★★1/2★★: Very good; a few bland songs or minor flaws throughout.
