Joey Fatts – Chipper Jones Vol 4 (REACTION/REVIEW)

★★1/2: Unexceptional; CJ4 isn't necessarily bad music, but if you're looking for a record that challenges itself and is refreshing to listen to, look elsewhere

Joey Fatts – Chipper Jones Vol 4

Released: 17 May 2019

Vince Staples and Kilo Kish affiliate Joey Fatts newest project, Chipper Jones 4.

Long Beach’s Joey Fatts appears to have an assortment of life experience and street knowledge in his psyche, however you won’t get that from Chipper Jones Vol 4. Rather than speak truthfully from direct experiences, Joey Fatts often opts-for-Pop by recreating renditions of generic flows, records and content present in today’s mainstream Rap ether.

Chipper Jones 4 certainly isn’t necessarily bad music, but if you’re looking for a record that challenges itself and is refreshing to listen to, look elsewhere.
