J. Cole – Might Delete Later
Released: 5 April 2024
J. Cole Might Delete Later feels like an album of throwaways/leftovers from J. Cole‘s upcoming-LP, The Fall Off. But despite being throwaways, many songs on Might Delete Later are polished and worthy of praise. And of course, the outro to this “throwaway” album is 7 Minute Drill, which is Cole‘s response to Kendrick‘s “Like That” diss verse.
Is this exchange between Cole and Kendrick planned and fabricated, or a real and natural result of them being compared for the past 15 years? Watch my reaction below:
★★★1/2: Very good; a few bland songs or minor flaws throughout.
