DDG Maybe Its Me review reaction

DDG doesn’t spare us the “I’m fucking your bitch” style of “flex” raps on Maybe It’s Me. This album is loaded full of braggadocio with just a hint of depression, which is thinly veiled underneath the gaudy lyrics – reminiscent of Future of Dirty Sprite 2. But this album doesn’t have the depth DS2 by any means; Maybe It’s Me is the generic style of Rap that we’ve come to expect in 2023. If you enjoy the average Rap song you hear on the radio from the likes of Lil Baby, 21 Savage, etc, then there’s no reason you shouldn’t enjoy Maybe It’s Me as well.
