Nearly 4 years post-release, my supporters are still asking for a Jay-Z “444” album review!
Jay-Z – 4:44
Released: 30 June 2017
I rate 4:44 as an EXCELLENT, 4-STAR album. 4:44 picks up and catapults where Magna Carta Holy Grail left off.
Although 4:44 falls short of being placed above my other Hov favs, including: Reasonable Doubt, Vol 1, Dynasty, American Gangster, Blueprint, and Black Album. This doesn’t take away from 4:44 being a transcendent and uncharacteristically vulnerable, yet refreshing, effort from the Hip-Hop legend, Jay-Z!
★★★★: Excellent; recommended to all fans of artist or genre
