Uzi comes through with his second project of the year.
Overall, this project feels very generic even more so than the Lil Uzi vs The World mixtape which I enjoyed for the most part; it had more high points like “You Were Wrong” and “Money Longer”. It also had more memorable moments where Uzi breaks off into signature melodic flows like the 2nd verse on “Money Longer”, the hook on “Scott and Ramona”, the beginning of “Team Rocket”, and the 1st verse on “You Were Wrong”. Uzi should start switching his flows and delivery up a bit more or he’ll be walking that line between having staying power and being a fad.
I suspect an album is coming soon because this feels like a tape of throwaways.
