Drake – Dark Lane Demo Tapes
Released: 1 May 2020
Dark Lane Demo Tapes appears to be a compilation album for Drake. It feels like a bunch of loosely collected tracks sequenced for a packaged release. Although I have the same gripes about Drake as a rapper that I’ve had his entire career, this project does have some fun moments worthwhile. It just doesn’t do anything for the criticism that Drake struggles to put together full, cohesive albums.
★★★: Good; fans of the artist will find value here.
